چکیده
The chemoselective hydrodeoxygenation of natural lignocellulosic materials plays a crucial role in converting biomass into value-added chemicals. Yet their complex molecular structures often require multiple active sites synergy for effective activation and achieving high chemoselectivity. Herein, it is reported that high-entropy alloy (HEA) on oxide (HEO) hetero-structured catalyst highly active, chemoselective, robust vanillin hydrodeoxygenation. heterogenous HEA/HEO catalysts were prepared by thermal reduction senary HEOs (NiZnCuFeAlZrOx), where exsolvable metals (e.g., Ni, Zn, Cu) situ emerged formed randomly dispersed HEA nanoparticles anchoring the HEO matrix. This exhibits excellent catalytic performance: 100% conversion 95% selectivity toward high-value 2-methyl-4 methoxy phenol at low temperature 120 °C, which attributed to synergistic effect among matrix (with abundant oxygen vacancies), anchored (having hydrogenolysis capability), intimate hetero-interfaces (showing strong electron transferring effect). Therefore, our work successful construction heterogeneous superior multifunctionality conversion, could shed light design many important reactions are multifunctional sites.

Hierarchically structured catalysts for cascade and selective steam reforming/hydrodeoxygenation reactions.
We report a hierarchically structured catalyst with steam reforming and hydrodeoxygenation functionalities being deposited in the micropores and macropores, respectively. The catalyst is highly efficient to upgrade the pyrolysis vapors of pine forest product residual, resulting in a dramatically decreased acid content and increased hydrocarbon yield without external H2 supply.

Ga-modified H-Beta (Ga/HBEA) zeolites were evaluated and compared to other Ga-containing catalysts supported on SiO2 and ZSM-5 (MFI) for the hydrodeoxygenation of m-cresol, a model compound representative of lignin-derived phenolics. The products include toluene, benzene, xylene, light hydrocarbons, as well as phenol and other oxygenated compounds. The appearance of bicyclic compounds suggests ...

Hydrodeoxygenation of Acetic Acid Using Monometallic and Bimetallic Catalysts Supported on Carbon
Heterogeneous catalytic hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of biomass-derived feeds is a deoxygenation process that is of highly interest. Carboxylic acids are one of the main components of bio-oils and acetic acid (AA) is one of the most abundant of these carboxylic acids. This acid is rich in oxygen, therefore there is a lot of research for to produce fuel and other valuable chemicals such as ethanol. ...
متن کاملHydrogenation and Hydrodeoxygenation of 2-methyl-2-pentenal on supported metal catalysts
Platinum, palladium, and copper catalysts supported on precipitated silica have been studied for the hydrodeoxygenation and hydrogenation of 2-methyl-2-pentenal in the 200–400 C temperature range. The activity follows the order Pt > Pd > Cu. It has been found that at low temperatures, Pt and Pd are primarily active for the hydrogenation of the C@C bond to make 2-methyl-pentanal, with some decar...
